JMedia won the 2005 award for the Best Corporate Public Relations Campaign at the National Awards for Excellence in Public Relations.

The award was for the campaign entitled: “Century Homes – The Home of Timber Frame”. The winning campaign positioned Century Homes as the industry leader and most dynamic company in Irish home manufacturing, and highlighted to the construction industry, and to home buyers, the importance of energy efficiency in Irish homes.

The judges, chaired by Gerry Davis, Chief Executive of the Public Relations Institute of Ireland, said:
“After much consideration, the award goes to a well structured and sustained programme which included a range of platforms and activities. Striking shifts in sales, a successful positioning campaign to establish the company as a market leader - and the establishment of the chief executive as a credible market commentator are among the achievements of the winning submission in this category - which is:  JMedia’s programme to highlight the benefits of timber frame homes on behalf of Century Homes.”

Century Homes Chief Executive Gerry McCaughey said: “I am delighted to win this award, because it is proof that the messages of timber frame, and energy efficiency in housing are getting through to Irish home buyers.”
